How to choose sexy underwear for men

Updated on October 27, 2013

How to choose sexy underwear for men-

Like most men and I suspect women too I have a great deal of trouble buying underwear. Getting men's underwear that both fits, is comfortable which looks good is hard. I have been shopping for my own clothes since I was a teenager, it does not get any easier. Now I am much older and guess what ? It just gets harder too much choice but how do you choose ?

In fact it can be difficult to say the least to buy any sort of under wear! Men's or Women's.

For health and security reasons stores will not let you try a pair of jocks or a singlet on. Which I guess is fair enough. So when you buy you have to take it on face value take pot luck as it were.that the closest piece of cloth to the most delicate parts of your body will fit. It is a bit like choosing a partner who says they are clean yet turn out to have VD.

A big issue is you cannot go on the label sizing. Whether there wrong by accident or the manufacturer is downsizing you to make you feel good about yourself. Not only that you do not want underwear, especially briefs to rub or chafe, especially in those highly sensitive places. . Or when they slide up and down as you walk around.

Some men go for Boxers others go for a thong. For me well im not really into boxers; But I will wear them around the house. I worry about men that go for thongs or a G-String or a Jock-strap.What are they trying to say? hey ! look im a real stud ! Ive yet to try a leather one some day ill be game...

It is Rare to find the right product until I've given then a road test. At this late stage in my life I still feel slightly embarrassed wearing something like a thong or jockstrap. As if women can really notice in the street.

I guess just like women when we meet woman who we want to make love to. A nice set of underwear is important to give us the confidence to go ahead and follow through.

Like most of us we women and men buy underwear on impulse if it looks good we go for it. Unfortunately more often than not the relationship between man and underwear is brief. Either they don't fit quite right or they rub you up the wrong way. That is the last thing you want: sore skin from excessive rubbing !Then when you find something that you really like guess what they change the design so you cant get the same ones again. Even the famous expensive brands such as Calvin Klein and Armani seem to be inconsistent with the promotion of their sizes.

Color is important. Most men go for white. It is only just recently that there is available a vast array of color and fabrics for men. For instance the 'Hom' brand was the first to go into silk in the 1970's. Now there are a number of brands including 'Oroton' which have silk underwear. I bough a pair of 'Oroton' brand underpants three years ago. I tried one pair on for a dayI was hooked ! I was so impressed I wanted to go back and buy the shop. No really I bought several more pairs all at once because I knew right there and then I would not have to worry again about the damn things for a couple of years. As it has worked out. Its been three years now and the Oroton Jocks have lasted me through thick and thin. Better still they still lookpretty good. They have not faded. The stitching is still intact as well as the elastic still holds me up and there are no new holes to worry about.

One has to shop with great care if necessary take a pair of jocks out of the wrapper and have a good look. Check the fabric! Check the stitching ! Make sure there are no loose threads. Then you need to visualize what your going to look like in that particular pair of briefs. If you look like mutton dressed up as lamb then choose something more appropriate to your shape.

The different types of briefs that men can purchase are in pictures to the right.

The selection of these really is a matter of personal choice.

Which one is more comfortable?

Which one of them look better on you ?

Bavid Beckam & armani underwear

The Soccer superstar David Beckhams recent photoshoot & advertisements in Armani underwear more than doubled the sales in Armani briefs.

I do hope you find what your looking for. For me at this point in time I will stick with the Oroton brand. Fortunately David Jones seem to be on a winner they continue to stock all sizes and have a wide range of sizes, colours and designs,

Good look with your shopping. please feel free to comment !

One of the great new companies on the market here in Australia is Aussie Bums. They are quite literally good looking briefs with a bit of cheek to them...You can see images of them below !
