Three men and a baby

Most of us have seen  the popular Movie Three Men And  A Baby. Starring Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenburg and Ted Danson. Well that is how I feel about pregnancy and motherhood. Those topics are completely alien to me know matter how many articles I read on the topic. I suppose you really have to be pregnant. You cant be half-pregnant Right ?

According to medical reports 'Morning sickness' affects quite a lot of women. It can be triggered by smells or food. All the physical and emotional changes can be exhausting. The first trimester is often the most difficult. Keep cool, be supportive and most of all talk. Good communication between you both will get you through. Having a close friend or family member to talk to about any concerns or worries you may have is another good idea.

The Second Trimester
Having some knowledge about pregnancy and what happens to the woman's body and her mind, helps men cope more easily with their partner's pregnancy, and even enjoy it. This article gives you some of the facts about the so-called second trimester, the 14th to 28th week of pregnancy.

The second trimester is often considered the best. Nausea and vomiting often experienced by a pregnant woman in the first trimester has gone and the woman often looks good, glowing with pregnancy!

Three Men and a Baby is a 1987 comedy film that starred Tom Selleck, Steve Guttenberg, and Ted Danson, and was directed by Star Trek's 'Mr Spock' Leonard Nimoy in his first non-Star Trek movie directorial role. It follows the mishaps and adventures of three bachelors as they attempt to adapt their lives to pseudo-fatherhood with the arrival of one of the men's love child. The script for the film was based on the 1985 French movie Trois hommes et un couffin (Three Men and a Cradle). The plot of the movie is as follows; Peter Mitchell (Tom Selleck), Michael Kellam (Steve Guttenberg) and Jack Holden (Ted Danson) are happy living their lives as bachelors in their lofty New York Cityapartment. They all have girlfriends, jobs and a carefree lifestyle. This is disrupted when a baby arrives on their doorstep one day. A note with the child, Mary, indicates that it is Holden's, the result of an affair with a recent co-star actress. The baby arrives in Holden's absence—he is in Turkey shooting a movie, leaving Peter and Michael to fend for themselves in taking care of the child, something in which their lack of experience befuddles them.

I am sure there are lots of men including me that feel thae same way.  Whenever I come into contact with mothers with recently born babies I feel completely alien and lost for words and emotions...
