Relay Writing - Creative Writing Prompt
This Hub follows the original post of Missolive Please Join me in relay writing. I begin the story with a creative writing prompt and end it with a new prompt. YOU continue the story on your own hub and I'll link to it. Have fun! There are more instructions at the end of this hub.
With a gulp, I realize my iPhone is missing. I only just picked up the new Iphone3Gs last week already I had spent hours downloading apps as well as all my favourite music. I had the phone covered in the 'Rolls Royce' of leather cases: Louis Vuitton. The case matched perfectly my handbag and wallet as well as my two suitcases.
I got the Security Guard to ring my lost iPhone to see if someone had it. Crossed fingers heres hoping someone would answer.
OMG! Someone answered the phone. What a relief! It had been found at The Grecian Rooms Nightclub in the Valley where it had been handed into reception. That was so so good. I immediatly caught a Cab and cruised my way to the Valley. After I successfully got my iPhone back into my palms, I asked the receptionist what she knew of the iPhone? She said that "Some man in a blue suit (whoshe had not seen before) had handed it in this morning.' I scurried out and called into Campo's Coffee which was nearby. "Soya Latte please! Yes Sarah coming up" I am a regular. Whilst sipping on my Latte, I see one of my Clients a couple of tables away, munching away into what looked like Eggs Benedict. I give him a smile and a gentle nod.
I took a Cab home and tried to get the stories swirling around in my head together. I ran Radox in the bath water and doubled up by adding Aramis Bath salts as well. I swirled the water around with vigour until bubbles started to form on top of the lime green hot water. I wasted no time hopping into the six foot bath and laid there contemplating things and gazing at my navel. Played a game of submarines with my body submerging up and down. Steam started to rise and I could feel droplets of water run down my forehead. I started to feel tension evaporate throughout my body especially my feet and hands and groin which were more sensitive to the warmth of the water. I stayed in the bath till the water started to get cool. Then I grabbed a nice large white fluffy towel and enveloped myself into it.

After drying out I powered myself with talc and dabbed small dobs of Chanel No 5 onto my pulse points on my wrists and neck. I then put on my favourite large white toweling dressing gown and proceeded to fill the kettle with water and turn on the stove. After making a nice brew of tea I flopped into the white Moran three-seater lounge and started to fiddle with my iPhone. I decide to give my close friend Jane a call and try and muster the courage to spill the beans about last night.
Jane a very close friend went to Brisbane Girls Grammar with she graduated ducks of the School received three seperate Scholarships into Law School. Jane graduated with first class honours. Already her career has taken off and she is already a Senior Partner in a law firm with offices in 100 cities around the world. I feel sure she would have come across a similar set of circumstances to mine. Given that she regularly appears in the social columns of the nations best magazines; as well Jane's legal opinion was sought in the highest of circles. In addition Jane is a regular panelist on Current Affairs programs such as Q and A. Not only that she was married to Notary Public and Parliamentary Secretary to the Federal Attorney-General. I looked through my iPhone Address Book and pushed call when I came to Jane.

Excellent job, Barry! I love the tone of your piece.
Okay, I am starting the next one. What a great prompt you gave me, Barry. Thanks. I can't wait to get started. I hope I am doing it right, though. These are all different stories, right? Or are they supposed to be the same narrator and a continuation of the story? Thanks.
This is great Barry! I had read it before, but got trigger happy and clicked away to another before commenting. (shame on me!)

Me, I think, on my own response. :-)
Great, Barry! I can't wait to see what Brittany does with this.
(By the way, Tsmog's response to sholland isn't a sub-branch but part of her main branch. There's no second sub-branch. Wow that's confusing, huh?)
Off to link your hub to mine!
