Photography using an iPhone- Hello wherever your viewing these images from. These are images I took using an IPhone shortly after I bought it some two years ago. I thought it was incredible that one relatively tiny piece of equipment the Iphone App could do so much. the Apple iphone has Apps to do just about anything-Take phone calls, listen to music, play games, and so on. I was mesmorised when i got the Apple IPhone. Being able to do so much with one small device. I even uploaded the images by remote to my compute using an iPhone App. How incredible when you think about how far technology has advanced. The same with the Video I used the Youtube App to post from my phone remotely to my computer Youtube site incredible. There they were when i got home on the computer.

IMAGE 1. The first image is taken from the 80 floor of the Q! Building at Surfers paradise Queensland about 90 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD. At one stage the building was the highest residential tower in the southern hemisphere. I can tell you i was suffering from a great deal of vertigo looking through these windows.

IMAGE 2. The second image is the Brisbane River very close to the Brisbane CBD. This is taken early morning during summertime between five and six am. The sky at this time is beautiful as is the brilliant orange reflection of the sun reflecting off the glass tower. There is a nice orange red hue forming part of the tremendous blue skyline.

IMAGE 3and 4. Similarly the next image was taken within minutes of the previous image. This is of course an angle on the Story bridge this was built in 1930 and continues to provide a central function of vehicle transport from the north to the south side of the Brisbane River. The night lights which illuminate the bridge are still lit no doubt within minutes as the light improves they will automatically extinguish.

IMAGE 5. The next image is taken along the promanade boardwalk of the Brisbane River. The scene atmosphere and mood at this time of day is quite serene. Brisbane is just waking up and shortly a golden yolk will appear over the horizon. Again there is a bright yellow hue along the skyline backdrop which creates a inspirational effect on all that experience it in real life.

IMAGE 6. The next image is taken from the Brisbane rivers edge towards the Victoria Bridge. This is another major traffic Bridge which links traffic that travels to and from the southern suburbs and the main M1 which links the Gold Coast to Brisbane. This image is taken early morning before dawn. As you can see the bridge is well lit with lighting both on top and underneath

IMAGE 7. The next image is taken at Dawn of the Old Parliament House which now sits within the grounds of QUT Queensland University of Technology. The building was recently restored as part of the 150 anniversary of the founding of Queensland as a seperate state. from an used buildng and now is a working building used for functions for the University. This building had stables etc which was the only form of transport other than the railway during its function as a parliament.

IMAGE 8. The final image is taken from the Treasury Casino Building at night which has special effects lighting that change color all night sometimes they put on a show where the lights constantly change. The building was once the Treasury Building for currency and economic policy used in Queensland. It fell into disrepair for some time and was restored to its current state in 1994. It has never been such a money spinner as it is now...

Wow. I'm shocked that you were able to get such good photos with an iPhone! I have the first model. Which one do you use? I know the later versions have great cameras.

Barry, those are absolutely stunning photographs. I don't have an iPhone but if I did want one, these pictures would be a great selling point. Thank you. :)

Thanks I could not figure out how others were getting the images to spread right across i thought it was because my images might be smaller being an iPhone. but it in fact because the template for the hub stated with a writing capsule at the side of the photo capsule
