How to be organised
How to be organised-You all know how it is: Until we reach a critical point, a tipping point as it were do we really take action to get organized. Like other things in life it’s often not until the eleventh hour that we decide it’s time to change behavior. Even then that can prove difficult. The house is dirty, piles of washing hang around the bedroom as does clothing that needs to be put away folded ironed you name. All of a sudden you can panic and feel you have lost control of your life. You react from one unexpected crisis to the next. It is time to take a good look at your habits.
A good starting point of decluttering and organizing your life is updating your wardrobe. Get rid of clothes you never use if there are in good enough condition to give to somebody give them to a local charity or men's or women's shelter. Next dispose of things you have not worn in the last twelve months. These items are just taking up valuable space. Repair garments that are missing buttons or require holes to be fixed or altered to fit you better.
Next organize your paperwork. This is probably the most critical in keeping your life in order. You’ll need some box files to keep separate your bills. Your letters and other important written paper correspondence. I recommend you declutter you life by trashing as much paper as possible you don't need to read every offer from every supermarket and other retail chain in your district. If you need it file it away. If you don’t need it bin it? File away your bills as they are payed. Put the bills in order to be paid those that are occurring interest pay first. Try to pay all bills within 30 days that will they will not get too big and you will protect your credit rating.
Next you ne to get a big diary and wall planner preferable A4 size Diary with a day to a page. Then a wall planer poster size. One that is washable so you can use it like a White board. Get into the habit of writing appointments down onto the wall planner then transferring them to your diary the night before so you can better plan your days. At the end of the day write down a summary of the day’s events the pluses minuses and what you learn't from the day’s events. Smart phones and IPads are very good with the organizers built in App form. The IPad has a particular good calendar and organizer application
Finally set a day for doing the major housework. Choose for instance a night or time when there is little on TV that you watch and or your not attending other events way from home. Make a detailed list of things that need to be done in your home in order of priority. Clean floor, dusting. washing, ironing cleaning bathroom etc. Make sure you have the requisite cleaning implements. Make a note of the time in your diary each job takes. That way you can plan better the time it takes to do each job and therefore plan your day and life better.
