An interview with Hubber: prettydarkhorse

Many of you know Prettydarkhorse from her engaging and enthusiastic activity posts and stories here on hub-pages.

Last year I started writing hubs on a conversation or interview I have with other Hubbers.

Similar to what Hubpages Weekly Newsletters and or do in their newsletters.. I thought it would be a great way for me personally to get to know a few hubbers I came across whiles reading their hubs as well my audience could to do so at the same time. This is the fourth hub I have posted so far the first time was with CatherineR and the second time was with.Luciendasky. This week my interview is with prettydarkhorse

You have been a member of Hub pages for around six months. You have already got lots of fan (672) & have posted 192 hubs. Quite an achievement in six months!

I write an average of one article to two a day. I think that experiences and lots of reading in the past are my sources of knowledge and I want to share lots of information from my past experiences. I have also other account alexandriaruthk’s in Hub Pages (HP), so add my hubs there plus Prettydarkhorse.

What drew you to join and what do you think now, compared to when you started out?

I joined HP because a friend recommended it to me. I used to work as a University Researcher before I went here in the US, so imagine the kind of work and researches I did. That is why you must have been noticed I do a lot of researching with my writings, although I want my writings to be more personal rather than purely research. Even entertainment hubs I also research about it.

Before I joined HP, I know it is tough earning online because I have some friends who said that. My purpose in joining HP is not just about money, if I can write and earn it will be fine with me. At this point I still think that HP offers a lot to writers in terms of venue to write. And I realized earning online is really tough job, from the legwork you need to do, then writing your hub -- finding time to write.

What sort of things are you writing about? What would you like to write about?

I write about many things, although as a researcher I can write about anything. I like entertainment because that’s what people like to read, about children’s health, natural health, alternative medicine, nutrition, diet, fitness, exercise. I am currently writing health and pregnancy. I am careful because people are reading it and it should be as accurate as possible, health issues and health topics should be dealt with accuracy, that is why I go to credible sites usually organizations (government and private) which has names and authority.

I would like to write about product reviews, I never tried those things, I don’t know if I am good at it, one time I will write and try it. I know that product reviews sells well on the Internet.

I would also like to write interviews about great people like politicians, entertainers and philosophers e.g, Dali Lama, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen and Matt Damon my favorite stars he he.

What about you’re family and other pastimes? Where are you from?

I 'm from the Philippines and migrated here in the US, I am single but with children. I am a Filipino -- Spanish and Chinese descent. I was married once.

I cooked and go with my friends house in my past time, I also work and read a lot. On Fridays I go to karaoke bars with friends and sing, but I don’t drink. I take care of my baby here who is 3 years old, my other children are in the Philippines with my parents.

If there were seven people [dead or alive]you could invite for dinner, who would they be ?

Hugh Jackman, Jesus Christ, Alexander the Great, Plato and Cleopatra Judas and Napoleon Bonaparte\

I think your choice is profound !

If there is somewhere you really want to visit?

I want to visit England, never been there, Scotland, Ireland and Wales and Brazil. I have been to Europe, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Australia, Asia -- most part of it, Malta -- Mediterranean, but I have never been to me.

Is there something you really want to accomplish before you die?

To be settled and married again once and found my true love. A person who will understand me for what I am and love me just the way I am -- somebody who will love my children. I like to settle in a place with a beach on the side overlooking a mountain.
