Hub Mobs
For the first time since being here on Hub pages which is now approaching three years I have written in a Hub Mob challenge. Don't get me wrong it is not that I am anti-social !
Well that my story and I'm sticking to it but no I’ve never really been into these groupie type thing. Except last year I entered the 'Thirty Day Hub Challenge' which was no mean feat as it was around exam time at University. After that episode my traffic doubled after thirty days. Well let me tell you something, a little secret, promise to tell no one right. Well I posted a few hubs on the St George & everything English Challenge this week and in a week my traffic has doubled from around 125 visits per day to a record for me of about 240. Now that may not sound a lot a lot to some of you but for me well it has been more than worth it. Remember I had to produce a hub a day for thirty days last year to double my hub traffic this time it has taken me a few hubs to do the same.
So if you want an easier way to increase your profile and traffic to your site. Participate in the next Hub Mob challenge.

You have inspired me to do more mob writing
That's great Barry. See you next week then?
I am really happy you decided to take part in the HubMob and thanks for sharing your secret to increase traffic, it is a good incentive for other hubbers to join the HubMob and improve their views and scores.
I try to write at least 1 hub on the HubMob topic most weeks. Of my top 10 most viewed hubs right now, 7 are HubMob hubs, with 4 of those also Health Hubs contest hubs. Two of my current top 10 most viewed hubs have been in my top 10, usually my top 5, for months. They are HubMob topics that I definitely would not have otherwise picked.
My HubMob hubs also help spike and balance my traffic. I had great traffic in Feb from 2 hubs on Olympic Women’s Figure Skaters, spiking my daily views to 400 to 600 a day! Previously my traffic was about 200 views per day.
One of my business HubMob hubs was featured repeatedly by HubPages and got about 100 views a day, just for the one hub. Now the Skaters hubs are at about 0 views, and the business hub traffic has dropped, but I’m getting good traffic from a couple of my Health HubMob/contest hubs. I’m averaging 300 to 400 views a day.
Check out some of sunforged’s hubs on creating “tiny little blogs” and using sites like shetoldme to increase backlinks and traffic. I haven’t read his 60 day challenge hubs yet, but I think the challenge is about putting a similar effort into promoting hubs as in writing them, to increase backlinks, traffic, and revenue.
